Virtual Box Settings

These are the usual settings I change from default.

1 General

    Shared Clipboard and Drag n Drop set to Bidirectional to allow Copy and Paste from Host to VM and vice versa.

2 System

   Motherboard: As I have 32 GB Ram, I have increased the Base memory to 8 GB

    Processor: You can increase the number of CPU's to increase performance depending on your host's capacity.
   
    Acceleration: 
   
3. Display: To get better graphics rendering. (Eg. Age of empires game performance might improve)

4. Audio

5. Network

Copy files from one computer to other using ‘scp’ command

copy files between computers using scp cmd scp file.txt remote_username@10.10.0.2:/remote/directory From the computer which has the source file, go to the command line and, provide the path of the source file followed by scp and then, username@hostname of the remote computer and then, the path where you want it to be copied on remote computer. Another example: Default port number is 22.
